Plantain Cookie (Korean: 플랜틴맛 쿠키, peulraentin-mat kuki) is an Epic playable Cookie that released on June 26, 2024 (Launch). He is a Wind elemental Tagger who uses Smash type attacks.

Story

"No matter how well you hide, trespass in the ruins of Bana Bana and you’ll be the next target of the ripe Bananarang! In the Banana Jungle lives the Bana Bana tribe, worshiping the Sacred Banana. Among them is Plantain Cookie, the only cookie member. But even though his dough is filled with plantain and not sweet banana, he is just as trusted as anyone else in the Bana Bana tribe. In rain or shine, this Cookie spends all day patrolling the outskirts of the ruins, wielding a large plantain boomerang. While he definitely could use a break, one look at his gem-adorned hairband, gifted to him from the tribe, and you can understand his determination to keep everyone safe from danger!"

Appearance

Plantain Cookie is a thickish Cookie of average height with dull brass dough. Only his right eye is visible and takes a mustard yellow color; his other eye is masked by a leafy wrap tied at the back of his head. His expression is fierce and his bare, white teeth exhibit a distinct middle gap. Plantain Cookie's hair, supported by a leather headband, is styled in a wild quiff with many plantain-like strands, taking a mossy green color overall with white and yellow tips. Plantain Cookie wears little clothing overall, the extents of such being a leafy skirt, leather wristbands, and a forest green anklet. Across his torso, biceps, and right cheek lie traditional tattoos in a brick red color. He utilizes an oversized plantain as his weapon, wielding it like a boomerang.

Personality

Plantain Cookie is more than a protector of the Bana Bana tribe, he is a part of its family, and Plantain Cookie shows a deep loyalty to them because of that, hence his desire to be stronger. True to his protectiveness of his tribe, he will use his Bananarang to thwart any threats that would dare threaten them.

Passive	Jungle Guardian
	All direct hits grant the Jungle Winds effect, granting increased movement speed. Making contact with allies grants them the Jungle Winds effect as well. This effect persists even if the Cookie is switched out. (Increased movement speed: +15% ⬥ Duration: 6 sec)

Ultimate	Elemental Tag Bana Bana Hurricane
	Throws a boomerang at a targeted area. The boomerang explodes and pulls in nearby enemies, creating an area that deals continuous damage. Targets hit by the explosion are afflicted by Downdraft, reducing their Wind RES. (Cooldown: 32 sec ⬥ Explosion damage: 200% ⬥ Continuous damage: 139% per hit ⬥ Duration: 10 sec) (Downdraft: Wind RES -8% ⬥ Duration: 10 sec)

Changelog

August 21, 2024 Direct hits with the Special Skill and the Ultimate Ability now reduce the target's Wind RES by 8%. (Duration: 10 sec) The Wind RES reduction effects from the Ultimate Ability and the Special Skill do not stack. (The descriptions of the Special Skill and the Ultimate Ability have been updated to reflect these changes.)

• Currently, Plantain Cookie is the only Cookie in the game that can cause a gravity effect, drawing enemies towards the center of his ultimate attack.
