Tagger is one of the 3 Roles in Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures. Tagger Cookies specialize in applying Elemental Tags to enemies, as well as debuffing them through various means. The most common debuff that Tagger Cookies apply is a debuff that reduces an enemy's Elemental Res to the user's Element. Other common debuffs include DOT (damage over time) and debuffs that reduce an enemy's Defense. They like to have a high Debuff Amplification stat.
Elemental Tag[]
Elemental Tags are applied by Tagger Cookies via their Special Skills and Ultimate attacks. The type of Elemental Tag applied to an enemy will match the Element of the Cookie who applied the tag.
Burst Gauge[]
The Burst Gauge is a meter that appears above an enemy's head (or in a boss's case, under their health bar) after an Elemental Tag is applied. The Burst Gauge can be filled quickly through attacks by Cookies with an elemental type that matches the Element of the applied tag. Cookies of a Recommended Element can also fill the gauge at an accelerated rate. Attacks by Cookies that do not meet either requirement will still fill the Burst Gauge, but at a much slower rate.
Elemental Burst[]
An Elemental Burst occurs when the Burst Gauge meter reaches 100%. When it occurs, "STRIKE" appears above the meter and a large amount of extra damage is done to the enemy. The stronger the Cookie that is filling the gauge, the more damage that the Elemental Burst will do. A single Elemental Tag can trigger multiple Elemental Bursts, so filling the Burst Gauge as fast as possible is the best way to get the maximum amount of benefit out of an Elemental Tag.
